The world's most widely practised massage, flowing, deeply relaxing, and tailored to you.
Swedish massage uses five carefully sequenced techniques — effleurage (long gliding strokes), petrissage (kneading), tapotement (rhythmic tapping), friction, and vibration — to release tension, improve circulation, and guide you into a deeply restful state.
The effects are measurable and well-documented. Massage directly activates the parasympathetic nervous system — your body's natural "rest and restore" mode — lowering heart rate, reducing the stress hormone cortisol, and encouraging the release of serotonin and dopamine. The mechanical pressure of effleurage and petrissage improves local circulation and tissue extensibility, while the rhythmic quality of the strokes modulates pain perception at the spinal level — which is why even long-standing tension can dissolve surprisingly quickly on the table.
Sessions are available as 60 or 90 minutes. You will be warmly draped throughout, and I will always adjust pressure to your exact preference — from a light, soothing touch to a firmer deep tissue approach if that is what your body needs. I use premium doTERRA massage oils for a silky, nourishing experience on the skin. If you have any health conditions you are unsure about, please consult your doctor before booking.
