Courage, Resilience, & a Calling
Tetiana Sokolova's journey to becoming a popular and trusted massage therapist in Didsbury, Cheshire is one of extraordinary courage and hard work. She was a qualified land registry lawyer with years of professional practice in her own business in Ukraine, before the war changed everything.
In 2022, with Russian forces advancing, Tetiana made the heartbreaking decision to flee her homeland. She left with her then 11-year-old son, carrying little more than her determination and her love for him. They arrived in England relying on sponsors for a home and a determination to quickly find employment, but in a country whose language she barely spoke.
She took advantage of English Language courses and found employment in the hospitality industry cleaning beds, at times a back-breaking job. In 2024, determined to pursue a more meaningful career, after months of dedicated training she gained an NVQ in massage therapy.
A chance meeting and massage for a Ukrainian friend, owner of the respected Oasis clinic in Didsbury, gave her a new opportunity to develop her skills. She quickly built a devoted clientele of returning clients, drawn back not only by her unique technical skill but by the warmth and genuine care she brings to every single session.
Having relocated to Hessle, East Yorkshire with her son and her partner Steve, who is a native of the area, Tetiana now brings that same five-star reputation to a new community, and continues to build it, one deeply grateful client at a time.

At the core of everything I do is a single, clear purpose: to give my clients genuine relief from the stresses and strains of everyday life. From the very first moment I meet you, I make it my priority to put you completely at ease, clients regularly remark that they felt calm and comfortable before the treatment had even begun.
My sessions are unhurried and deeply attentive. I listen carefully, adapt my technique to what your body specifically needs that day, and never rush the experience. I use exclusively premium doTERRA essential oils, some of the finest therapeutic-grade oils available, alongside specialist oils sourced from Ukraine, carrying with them a piece of my homeland and its rich tradition of natural healing.
I warmly welcome all clients. I speak Ukrainian, Russian and English, and every client is made to feel equally at home whatever their background. I hold comprehensive public liability, professional indemnity and product liability insurance, so you are always in safe, fully covered hands.

Following the outbreak of war, Tetiana made the courageous decision to leave everything behind and bring her son to safety in England.
Learned English at night school whilst working in housekeeping at a top Cheshire hotel, hard-working, determined, disciplined, and building towards a new future.
Qualified with Jarvis Training Management Ltd, an Ofqual-regulated, nationally recognised qualification.
Part-time work at the respected Oasis clinic in Didsbury quickly became a thriving practice, with returning clients drawn back by Tetiana's unique skill and genuine warmth.
